Unlimited company change of registered address procedure
The Business Registration Ordinance (Cap. 310) requires a business operator to notify the Commissioner of Inland Revenue in writing within one month after a change or closure of business information.
Since unlimited companies only apply to the Business Registration Office at the time of registration, they only need to change the company information to the Business Registration Office when changing the registered address of the company.
Notify the Business Registration Office in writing, choose to complete the Notice of Change of Business Address Form (IRC 3111A) or write your own notice, you need to indicate your business registration number, business name, old and new business address and date of change, etc., both of which need to provide new proof of address, such as proof of tenancy agreement, etc., and submit the form to the Business Registration Office by post or in person.
The updated Business Registration Certificate will be collected by the corresponding method submitted in the form, and the company is also required to place the updated business registration information in a conspicuous position in the company.
Limited company change of registered address procedure
The procedure for changing the registered address of a limited company needs to be notified to the Business Registration Office and the Companies Registry respectively, and both the Business Registration Office and the Companies Registry can be submitted by post or in person.
You need to complete the “Notice of Change of Business Address Form (IRC 3111A)” by post or in person to the Business Registration Office on 4/F of the Inland Revenue Building, and complete the “Notice of Registered Office (NR1)” by post or in person to the Companies Registry.

The Companies Registry does not provide online appointment service.
